SAN AGUSTINILLO

Es una pequeña playa ubicada en la costa de Oaxaca. Durante años sus hermanas mayores, Mazunte y Zipolite, han acaparado toda la atención de los visitantes, por eso nosotros decidimos quedarnos aquí. La cotidianidad de los habitantes de San Agustinillo empieza cada madrugada cuando los pescadores salen al mar y regresan al amanecer con pescados y mariscos frescos. Las mañanas transcurren con saludos entre vecinos y perros acostados a la sombra de las palapas. El mar, siempre ahí, va y viene con sus olas estruendosas que al atardecer se convierten en el área de juego de los surfers. Cada noche las estrellas nos regalan un espectáculo diferente, para recordarnos la inmensidad del universo. La temporada de lluvias es muy breve, por lo que disfrutamos de 345 días soleados con temperatura promedio de 30º C y una brisa refrescante. Durante tus caminatas en la calle principal vestida con techitos de palapa, encontrarás pequeños restaurantes con sabores explosivos y frescos, una tiendita de artesanía oaxaqueña y un hermoso manglar que todos protegemos como reserva natural. Además tenemos 1 km de playa dividido en 3 bahías donde bien puedes disfrutar en una gran ola para surfear o un tranquilo momento de relajación. [:en]

It is a small beach located on the coast of Oaxaca. For years its older sisters, Mazunte and Zipolite, have hoard all the attention of visitors, that’s why we decided to stay here. The daily life of the inhabitants of San Agustinillo begins every morning when fishermen go out to sea and return at dawn with fresh fish and seafood. Mornings pass with greetings between neighbors and dogs lying in the shade of the palapas. The sea, always there, comes and goes with its thunderous waves that at dusk become the surfers play area. Every night the stars give us a different show, to remind us of the immensity of the universe. Rainy season is very short, so we enjoy 345 sunny days with an average temperature of 30º C and a refreshing breeze. During your walks on the main street dressed in palapa´s little roofs, you will find small restaurants with explosive and fresh flavors, a small store of Oaxaca crafts and a beautiful mangrove that we all protect as a nature reserve. We also have 1 km of beach divided into 3 bays where you can enjoy a great wave to surf or a quiet moment of relaxation. [:]
